Heavenly Father And Mary Did It?

Hey, upper east emailers, sister Tew here! For starters goodbyes are fr so hard, but it makes me realize how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my life. Love you all so much for real!!!! Also If you're wondering mtc food is very much um not good. Makes me miss brunch at AXO real bad! Shout out my az brunch goons!

First full day at the mtc was crazy. Started the day by going to the Timp. Temple to do baptisims/initiatories and then we went again later in the week to do endownments. Ngl it was kinda sad being so close to my home, but the temple fr is my favorite place ever honestly. Everyone must go walk the grounds if you're able whether you're a member or not the peace I get from just being near the Lords Holy House is unlike anything I have ever experienced.

" Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled , neither let it be afraid."

Also sis. Richter and I rewatched our practice lesson and lets just say chandler trynna explain what it means for Christ to be Heavenly Fathers only begotten son didn't go very well. Here's a direct quote,"So basically Heavenly Father and Mary... uhhh sis. Richter any thoughts." Truly have no memory of saying this but its on film so theres that. Anyways word of advice for any future missionaries don't try and explain the birds and the bees if ya know what I mean.

We've been studying the atonement alot and the amount of love Christ has for each of us to be willing to offer himself as a sacrafice so that we can have the opportunity be made clean again is so great we can barely even comprehend it. In 3 Nephi 11:11 it talks about how Christ drank out of the bitter cup and while I was thinking about what the word bitter means my first thought was like gross to the taste, like no one wants to eat or drink something bitter. One of the definitions of bitter is "very difficult to accept or bear" with some synonymns being; intolerable, unbearable, and unendurable. I feel like often time we talk about the atonement of Christ at a very surface level, but when we dig deeper and strive to understand what the savior must have felt when he was feeling pains, afflictions, and temptations of every kind I am able to more fully comprehend the incomprehensible love that our savior has for each and every single one of us. I know he died for each of us, and that through him we can be made clean again. I know that the love our Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ, have for each of us is so increadibly great. I invite you all to go read 3 Nephi 11 because it truly does testify of Christ and his atonement! 

Anyways my district is even better in person. I think some of the girls are genuinely going to be some of my life long friends. Shout out ricky and tot!! Haven't laughed so hard for so long in a while. Like I said I got so blessed with my district and companion.

I may be iron deficient? Guys on sunday during sacrament my wrist was itchy so I scratched it with my beacelet and my skin turned black so then I tried it with one of my rings and the same thing happened. Supossedly when that happens it means that you have low iron acording to my nurse friends sis Stott and sis Richter. I guess you coukd say I've been having fun with that cause I've been drawing on myself ever since.
